Also, Body/Courage was just released in the Chicago Tribune and TimeOUT last week. Make sure you grab tickets for this show, because with fingers crossed and prayers I hope this is a sold out event.

Body/Courage is directed by Megan Carney and will be Co-Produced by Rivendell Theatre Ensemble & Waltzing Mechanics. January 28-February 27.

I will be inviting everyone and their mama to come see this show so secure a space now by clicking the picture below.

BODY COURAGE

Body/Courage is a one-woman show sourced from worldwide interviews Pinnock collected over the last several years, Body/Courage explores what it means to grow up in an unpopular body, how disability impacts self-image, and how the mirror does not reflect our inner truth. What began as a project about body image related to weight and personal sense of attractiveness has expanded to include stories of illness, disability, skin color, aging, gender transition, and more. Pinnock’s interviews capture the nuances of how a diverse range of individuals grapple with the intensely high pressures of appearance in our culture.

The Body Politic 2016 Season at Rivendell is going to be epic! You definitely do not want to miss the occasion.
